Ken Cole Reaction Shoes--Poor Quality

Hello. I bought a pair of Ken Cole Reaction Sim-Plicity Oxfords (Brown size 11) and have found them to be of very poor quality. I've had them for 3 weeks and both shoes' upper is tearing away from the glued-on sole. I don't abuse them--this is just from walking.



I wrote the company an e-mail and it hasn't been personally returned after 2 days (though the automated response assured me it would be). I then called 1-800-Ken-Cole and the customer service representative told me to return them (I pay shipping) and in 4-weeks or so I'll get a repaired/replaced pair. So I get to walk around in flip flops or buy another pair in the interim? Ken Cole presents itself as a mid/high-end clothing company but they are most certainly not. They should have directed me to the nearest retailer for a replacement pair.



So I have the following observations:



1. The quality of these shoes is not consistent with the $100 they cost.

2. Ken Cole doesn't stand behind their products like other mid/high-end companies do.

3. I will never buy another clothing article from this company.

4. I will never buy shoes on-line again; rather I will buy from a reputable retailer like Nordstrom's.

Love it!

This belt fits all of my needs! I wear it with my dress clothes almost exclusively every day. After over 6 months of use the belt surface still shows little/no wear and still shines like it is new. The only complaint that I have is that the leather surface is slightly separating from the backing around the edge closest to the hole I use most. Boots!

I just got these in today and immediately started wearing them. Calves are a little snug with my pants tucked in- just measured the opening and it comes in at about 15.5 inches. Sung but not painful ie no pinching or squeezing. heal hight is great but a little loud walking around. There's not much padding for the ball of my feet I'm probably going to try some inserts. I got the Congnac color which I find beautiful and rich not as orange-y as the picture looks more brown. The leather is super soft not at all stiff looking on the leg. Save your money

I purchased these shoes because I thought they would be comfortable. I have numerous pairs of Kenneth Cole Reaction and Kenneth Cole shoes that I adore. They are usually stylish well made and comfortable. Just for the record I wear high heels every day so a little 3-inch wedge heel is nothing to me. At first these shoes seemed extremely comfortable while I standing still but after walking two blocks they were not. After wearing these shoes yesterday my feet are COVERED in gigantic blisters... from the tops of my toes and the balls of my feet. The buckles are poorly constructed and slip so that you are constantly adjusting it. When I have recovered I may try them again in hopes that maybe I can break them in. Nice narrow sandals

I received my shoes last night. They look just like in the picture. I am a size 10 but usually for sandals I need a 10.5 I ordered size 11 and they fit very good but they are a little narrow so if you have wide feet they may be too small.



They are comfortable. I am wearing them to work today I like them.

Looks great but not comfortable enough to walk around in for anything more than short periods of time. A person with narrow feet might be able to get around in these. To me there isn't enough height clearance for your toes either if you put on socks but that could just be me. I wear boots when the weather cools. Great boots!

I'm happy with these boots have no complaints. They're comfortable and relatively warm (considering they're not heavily insulated). I have the gray pair and they've stayed very clean even through a few small water splashes. The boots do slouch more than the pictures show at least on me. I'm about 5'4 and if f I pull them all the way up they go to about the top of my calf but tend to slip down an inch or two if I don't adjust them throughout the day. More detail ...

I have been looking for a shoe like this for months!

I had ordered a shoe like this from another store in another brand. Well I didn't take into consideration that with the high wedge I would greatly appreciate a little more toe room to keep my toes from hitting stuff as I walked. When I tried to return them they were sold out of the size I needed. They were sold out at every store I called and even online.



Then I walked into Dillards during a shoe sale and found this brand but the same style of shoe at a comparable price. They are heaven. If you usually wear a size in Kenneth Cole you might want to go up just half a size when ordering these. I also enjoy that they are a little wider than some others that are this same style so your toes don't get squished. They are lightweight so walking in them all day is just fine. Added bonus are the rubber grips on the bottom.

Look fabulous but do not fit right

I am on the patent "fashion train" but liked these for work because it toned the shinyness down. they do look fabulous but they do not fit as other Kenneth Cole's. They ran half a size too big. Also even when I got the right size I find them hard to walk in. They are way too wide and they "flop" a lot. If you have wide feet then the regular would be perfect for you.
